Introduction

Steve is immensely proud to regard the Canadian singer and songwriter Jay Semko as his friend. He first chatted with the musical genius a few weeks prior to interviewing him on his Liverpool radio show in the summer of 2006.

To explain why we believe Jay to be so awesome, let us put things into context. He was hand picked by the mighty Hollywood producer and writer Paul Haggis, to compose the score and theme song for the hit TV show Due South.

Haggis has recently worked as the head writer for the James Bond movies, having turned down the job of director. A man with such power and responsibilities clearly only hires the best for his projects and so it's no mystery that when he wanted music for Due South which represented the best of what Canada has to offer, he chose Jay Semko.
